Principles we'll cover:
- Principle 1 Temptation and sin come from within our hearts, not from external sources.
- Principle 2 There are numerous symbols for sin. None of them are supernatural.
- Principle 3 Satan is often the role of an adversary, accuser, or obstacle. This is why Jesus called Peter a “Satan.”
- Principle 4 It is impossible for immortal beings, such as angels, to sin, or eventually be destroyed. Immortality cannot be lost.
- Principle 5 Jesus destroyed in himself the power of the devil. He did this by conquering temptation and sin.
- Principle 6 There is a world of evil, but it is ruled over by people, not supernatural beings.
